On the morning of January 26, in the courtyard of a house on Moskovsky Trakt in Tyumen, an explosion occurred in a Volkswagen Polo car. The driver, after getting into the car, lit a cigarette, which led to the detonation of gas that had accumulated in the cabin.
Authorities from the Tyumen prosecutor«s office are investigating the criminal aspects of the emergency.

«The door was blocked, and he barely managed to escape from the car through the passenger door,» eyewitnesses of the incident reported.
The explosion led to injuries and required immediate intervention from medical and emergency teams.
At that moment, the man«s daughter was near the car. The child was thrown back by the blast wave and sustained injuries. Medical help was required.
The press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) said:
«A report about a fire in the car came in at around nine in the morning. The fire on four square meters was quickly extinguished. A child was injured.»
The regional prosecutor«s office initiated a criminal case on the fact of the emergency.
»The preliminary cause is a gas leak. The minor daughter of the driver, who was near the car, was injured. She was taken to the hospital to provide necessary assistance,« the department reported.
