Bastrykin Requests Report on School Assault Case
A criminal case was initiated under the article «Negligence» in connection with the beating.
The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has requested a report on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case regarding the beating of a 12-year-old girl in a school in Aksaysky District. A classmate struck her head against a door frame, and the victim lost consciousness. The offenders themselves posted a video online.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Russia for Rostov Region initiated a criminal case under the article «Hooliganism». A check is also being conducted by the police.
«The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for Rostov Region, Aslan Khuade, to report on the progress of the criminal investigation and the established circumstances,» according to a statement from the press service of the investigative committee.
According to the girl«s mother, the conflict with classmates arose because they brought up the topic of her father»s death in the special military operation.
