Bastrykin Demands Report on Phantom Attacker Case

A criminal case has been opened in Yekaterinburg after an unknown person attacked a man at 27 Tsiolkovsky Street. This was reported by the press service of the regional investigative department.
‘Based on this fact, the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region have opened a criminal case on signs of a crime under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism),’
the department explained.
The situation has been personally taken under control by the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin. He demanded that a report on the progress of the investigation be provided to him.
An unknown man, hiding his face under a mask, has long been terrorizing the residents of the Premier residential complex. Previously, he committed arson of cars in the yard and attacked drivers on the road with a crowbar.
The latest incident occurred several days ago. The attacker assaulted a man with his fists at the entrance. Surveillance cameras recorded how he first tried to snatch the glasses from a local resident and then kicked him.
