In the Leninsky district of Omsk, the ceiling collapsed in a building at 78 Krymskaya Street. A local resident filmed the situation: the video shows a hole in the roof that has already iced over and is covered with snow. A complaint was posted on VKontakte in the «Emergency Situations in Omsk» community.

The city hall reported that the building has been deemed unsafe, but people will not be relocated. A decision on resettlement is possible only by court order.

«The building has been deemed unsafe but is not subject to resettlement under the program for relocating from unsafe housing. Resettlement is possible only by a court decision on immediate relocation, which does not exist for this building.»

Residents are advised to contact the housing policy department for consultation on possible relocation to another building.

«The collapse of a part of the ceiling, about 1 square meter in size, occurred in the entrance of the barrack-type building at 78 Krymskaya Street in 2025. The owners have been informed of the need for repair and maintenance of common property in accordance with housing legislation,» the city hall added.

In December last year, NGS55.RU reported that an apartment building near the 30th Anniversary of the Komsomol Park was deemed unsafe.
