Margarita Simonyan sports wig in first post-chemotherapy TV appearance
The journalist did not experiment and chose a wig similar to her real hair
Margarita Simonyan is slowly returning to her previous life after her first chemotherapy session. The head of RT, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in September, has several more treatment courses ahead, but she does not intend to stay in bed and is actively participating in filming. Simonyan appeared on Vladimir Solovyov«s talk show, where viewers immediately noticed a change: Margarita was wearing a wig.
In her Telegram channel, the journalist said even before starting treatment that she was ready for all the consequences awaiting her and is not afraid of going bald.
« For an adult widow with many children to worry about hair is somehow even awkward. I»ve already bought wigs and turbans in case I can return to the air, and I admit, it even amuses me, » wrote Margarita.
For her first television appearance after chemotherapy, Margarita chose a wig that closely resembles her real hair — dark chestnut in color, medium length. The fact that the hair is not Simonyan«s is only given away by the new bangs and a more concise hairstyle instead of frequent curls.
Margarita also showed her new look in her program «ChTD» (What«s the Deal?). About the fact that the journalist will now appear in a wig, Margarita hinted earlier in the comments under the previous episode of the program. Communicating with a subscriber who noted her appearance, Margarita, along with thanks, ventured into a revelation.
