Famous fighter Alexander Emelianenko openly talked about his longest binge, for which he is ashamed. The athlete opened up to viewers in a new episode of the show “Stars Under the Drip” (18+), where public figures are trying to overcome their addictions in front of the whole country.

The show«s host, narcologist Vasily Shurov, suggested that the participants of the TV experiment recall the toughest stories from their wild lives. The first to share intimate details was invited to be the renowned athlete, who at the peak of his fame made headlines due to his drinking.

— I lived in St. Petersburg with my wife. A friend called and said he had driven up to the house just to chat. I told my wife I would go down for a bit and stop by the store for bread. But I went to a restaurant instead. The binge started. When I realized I was already tired, it turned out that a year had passed, — Alexander Emelianenko recalls in the show. — I went home, bought bread, rang the doorbell. My wife opens the door and asks: “What are you doing here?” And I replied that there was a line. I apologized.

He admitted that now, remembering this episode of his life, he feels disappointment in himself. He is uncomfortable with his own actions.

Also, doctors, observing the athlete«s behavior in the star rehab, suggested that Alexander Emelianenko has frozen feelings syndrome. That is why he behaves so calmly on the show and almost does not express emotions. Such a syndrome could have arisen against the background of some childhood trauma. For example, as the program»s medics believe, the athlete might have had a hard time dealing with the fame of his own brother — Fedor. Allegedly, he was constantly in his shadow. The Emelianenko brothers have not spoken for about 15 years.

The project “Stars Under the Drip” was conceived as a social and health experiment on the TV channel “Friday”. In the very first episode, Anastasia Volochkova went wild, starting a romance with Roma Zhelud on the background of a couple of glasses of prosecco. The next morning, a scandal broke out, and she left the project on her own. Almost immediately after, the second outrageous participant left — Nikita Dzhigurda. Later, he talked about the huge fee for participating in this project.

And last week, viewers of the show were shocked by the confession of Roma Zhelud, who also ended up in this VIP rehab. He stated that he foresees death.
