A resident of Yaroslavl has complained about the condition of the therapeutic department at Hospital No. 9. The Yaroslavl woman posted photos from the ward on social media.

“I want to ask once again — when will the departments of Hospital No. 9 at 31 Tutayevskoye Highway finally be brought into a normal, human condition?” the woman wondered.

According to the Yaroslavl resident, her mother was admitted to Hospital No. 9.

“The furniture is old and rusty, the bedside tables are all falling apart, the walls are dirty and shabby, there«s only one socket in the entire ward — and it»s falling out, cockroaches are roaming in crowds on the bedside tables. Tell me, how are people supposed to get treatment in such conditions?” listed the city resident.

The Ministry of Health told 76.RU that a capital repair is planned for the department.

“An application for the repair of the therapeutic department has been submitted to the design institute for the preparation of design and estimate documentation. Then the PSD will be sent to the State Autonomous Institution «Yaroslavl State Construction Expertise» for review. After receiving a positive expert decision, the procurement procedure for services to carry out the capital repair of the department will be conducted,” explained the Ministry.

Previously, complaints have already been made about the condition of the ninth hospital. A patient published a video from the medical institution on social media. That time, the focus was on the surgical department. The camera captured dirt on the floor, walls, in the ventilation grill, and a torn mattress on one of the beds. The hospital administration then told the 76.RU portal that repairs are regularly carried out at the medical institution.
