Yuri Shalabaev Shows His Student Photo

Yuri Shalabaev, the mayor of Nizhny Novgorod, addressed young people on Student Day via his Telegram channel, accompanying the congratulation with a photo from his youth.

He characterized student years as a special period in life when one feels adult but retains youthful lightness. «You dream, love, and befriend to the maximum, make plans for the future without doubting their realization, want to change the world and are ready to break the rules. I received my first higher education more than 20 years ago, and since then I have been a perpetual student,» the mayor wrote.

In conclusion of his address, Shalabaev wished all students to live this time brightly, find their calling, true friends, and good mentors.
