What will replace 34 houses near Ufa's Beverly Hills?

A block in Ufa«s Southern microdistrict is set to be redeveloped — many houses and outbuildings will be demolished and replaced by an educational center. City authorities have approved the project.

The area is located between Sophya Perovskaya Street, Academician Galeev Street, Zainab Biisheva Street, and Nekrasov Lane. In March 2025, it became known that Ufa«s city hall allowed the company »Art-City« to develop a new planning project for this block — then UFA1.RU visited and showed what the plot that interests the developer looks like. The organization is known for having completed one of Ufa»s most problematic long-term construction projects.

According to the document, 6.2 thousand square meters of various buildings will be demolished in the mentioned area — that«s 34 residential houses and utility buildings. Instead, a kindergarten for 200 children and a school for 198 students will appear in the block. The plans are to be implemented by 2042.

Additionally, near the development block is also located the so-called «Ufa»s Beverly Hills«.
