Volgograd Oblast declares drone threat regime

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) threat regime has been introduced in Volgograd Oblast. Residents received an SMS alert in the night of January 22, warning them not to approach windows, to avoid going outside if possible, and to remain calm.
«Attention! An unmanned aerial vehicle threat has been declared in Volgograd Oblast,» the message from the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM of Russia) states. «Avoid open areas of the streets, do not approach windows. Phone: 112».
Meanwhile, the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) had not introduced any restrictions at the Stalingrad Airport by the time of publication, and it is operating normally. According to the online board, there are no delays in departures or arrivals of aircraft.
Recall that on the morning of January 20, EMERCOM sent a message to mobile subscribers about the UAV threat, and the Ministry of Defense reported two Ukrainian drones shot down overnight in the sky over Volgograd Oblast.
