Ulyanovsk Seeks Contractor for 305-Million-Ruble Active Longevity Home

On the basis of the «Podsolnekh» (Sunflower) rehabilitation center on Gerasimova Street, the construction of a stationary department for an active longevity home is planned. The information has been posted on the website of the regional state procurement agency. An electronic auction has been announced, with the initial contract price of about 305 million rubles (approximately $3.3 million at current rates). The center is tentatively scheduled to be built by the spring of 2027.
Recall that a year ago, an active longevity club that united many pensioners closed in the Zavolzhsky district of Ulyanovsk. During public hearings on the city«s 2026 budget, community activists had questions regarding the funding for the completion of the renovation of the »Aurora« cultural center on Zhukovsky Street.
