Ukrainian Drone Shot Down Over Volgograd Region

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 75 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the aircraft type overnight, one of which was shot down over the Volgograd region.
In a Telegram channel, the military department stated: «During the past night, duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 75 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the aircraft type: 24 UAVs over the territory of Krasnodar Krai, 23 UAVs over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, 6 UAVs over the waters of the Black Sea, 5 UAVs over the territory of Belgorod Oblast, 4 UAVs over the territory of Astrakhan Oblast, 3 UAVs over the territory of Kursk Oblast, 3 UAVs over the waters of the Azov Sea, 2 UAVs over the territory of Voronezh Oblast, 2 UAVs over the territory of Bryansk Oblast, 1 UAV over the territory of Rostov Oblast, 1 UAV over the territory of Tambov Oblast, 1 UAV over the territory of Volgograd Oblast.»
Due to the night«s events, flight restrictions remain in place at Volgograd Airport, established by Rosaviatsiya (the Federal Air Transport Agency) on the evening of January 27. According to the online board, a Pobeda flight from Moscow scheduled for the evening was redirected to a reserve airfield in Saratov and is expected at Gumrak (Volgograd Airport) on the morning of January 28. A flight by AlMasria Universal Airlines from Sharm el-Sheikh has also been delayed, and morning departures of Pobeda and Aeroflot from Moscow have been postponed.
