In the city center, thanks to deicing agents, the pedestrian areas are covered more with puddles than ice. But in places, the new cobblestones are slippery even in such conditions, and if it freezes over, as at the intersection of Lenina and Kommunisticheskaya Streets, walking there requires extra caution.

As an annual tradition, a lot of ice accumulates on pedestrian crossings. Especially near the Central Market, this applies to both Tsuryupa Street and Revolyutsionnaya Street. Often, when crossing, one has to slide down.
Icy segments like this one present a significant danger to walkers.

Such spots are found along the entire length of Tsyurupa Street. Overall, walking is possible without problems. But elderly people in winter generally move carefully and with caution. On such sections, it«s still difficult for them to walk. A similar situation exists at the end of Lenina Street and at the intersection with Ibragimov Boulevard.
It is advisable to hold onto stable objects when traversing slippery patches.
