Ufa residents protest forest clearing for residential development

Ufa residents are concerned about the tree cutting behind Boulevard Slavy. Previously, UFA1.RU found out that near the local forest area, construction is planned under the comprehensive territorial development program. There, in particular, they plan to build a residential complex.

«Of course, why relocate old, dilapidated emergency houses, why improve and beautify the city? It»s easier to cut down the forest,« laments a UFA1.RU reader.

«Pay up and do whatever you want!» exclaims another.

«These trees grew for years — purifying the city»s air, and now they are being mercilessly destroyed, for pennies,« fumes another.

«Money rules! Soon we»ll end up in a desert, everything will be cut down! And the main thing is that no one cares,« wrote a site visitor.

«Are they planning to plant new trees?!» wonders a portal visitor.

«And how many years will it take for their twigs to become normal trees with a canopy?» asks a Ufa resident.

«Trees and garages have no place in the city, everywhere there should only be modern residential complexes,» declares a city resident.

«A residential complex (RC) is a housing complex that includes schools, hospitals, clinics, kindergartens, and shops, not just three 30-story high-rises!» explains a reader.

«What a »romantic« mood awaits future residents,» concludes a townsman.

It should be noted that a total of 7.49 hectares of land along the forest on Blukher Street have been designated for renovation. The city hall assured that the developer company «Zeleny Dvor» has received all necessary documentation for the clearing, and the money paid for this will be spent on landscaping.
