Tyumen Resident Yet to Claim 333 Million Ruble Lottery Win

The Tyumen resident has not yet claimed the winnings.
In the Tyumen region, authorities are still unable to locate the winner of a major New Year«s lottery held on January 1. The draw featured a jackpot of one billion rubles (approximately $10 million at current rates), which was split among three lucky winners, each receiving 333.3 million rubles (approximately $3.3 million). However, the Tyumen resident has not yet come forward.
«The winner from the Tyumen region has not yet applied for the winnings. As soon as the winner claims the prize and decides to share his story, we will definitely tell it,» — the press service of «Stoloto» told a journalist from 72.RU.
The one billion rubles was immediately divided among three participants from Sverdlovsk, Novosibirsk, and Tyumen regions. The Tyumen winner also secured an additional 500 rubles (approximately $5) in subsequent draw rounds, bringing his total winnings to 333,333,833 rubles (approximately $3.33 million). Additionally, a separate prize of 100 million rubles (approximately $1 million) was awarded to a resident of the Lipetsk region.
One of the «New Year»s Lottery« winners was Natalia Lokhmatova, an educational psychologist from the Sverdlovsk region. After tax deductions, she will receive 261.6 million rubles (approximately $2.62 million). She plans to donate part of the money to charity, help her mother, and use the rest for her family.
