Three Tyumen Servicemen Killed in Special Military Operation

Three servicemen from the Tyumen region were killed in the special military operation zone. Among them are a former employee of the agro-industrial complex department and the head of the specialized voluntary military training group «Varyag». Obituaries were published by authorities and an all-Russian public organization.

For example, the Yunarmiya branch (a youth military organization) in the Sladkovsky district reported the death of Mikhail Kugaevsky. His farewell ceremony was held on January 26.

According to the public organization«s statement:

»Mikhail Sergeyevich graduated in 1998 from the Tyumen Higher Military Engineering Command School named after Marshal of Engineer Troops A.I. Proshlyakov with the rank of lieutenant. After completing his studies, he was sent to the Far East, where he served for 13 years. As the head of the specialized voluntary military training group «Varyag», Mikhail Sergeyevich was a shining example of courage; cadets always eagerly attended his classes, and some of them firmly linked their lives with military service.«

It is known that in 2022, the man went to the special military operation, serving as the commander of an engineer-sapper company. Major was awarded the state medal «Zhukov Medal».

The second deceased is former employee of the Tyumen region«s agro-industrial complex department Vasily Fefelov. His death was reported by his former colleagues.

As stated in the obituary published on the page of the Tyumen Region Agro-Industrial Complex Department:

«On January 13, 2026, while performing his military duty during the special military operation, Vasily Viktorovich Fefelov tragically died. A graduate of an agricultural academy, a former employee of the Tyumen Region Agro-Industrial Complex Department, working in the livestock department, he contributed to the development of agriculture in his native land.»

It also said that the man participated in charity work, for example, helping orphanages. The farewell ceremony for Vasily Viktorovich was on January 27 from 11:00 to 12:00 in the mourning hall of the Tyumen crematorium.

The third serviceman is 21-year-old Renat Galyamov from Nizhnyaya Tavda. His death was reported by the local administration.

According to the statement:

«Renat Galyamov was born on June 28, 2004 in the village of Nizhnyaya Tavda. He studied at the Nizhnyaya Tavda School and at the Agrotechnological College. In June 2025, he decided to serve in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation under contract. He lived and worked in the village.»

Renat Galyamov died on July 21, 2025 near the settlement of Belgiyka during the special operation.
