On the morning of January 27, thousands of residents of the Aksay district were left without electricity. This was reported by the local Emergency Situations Prevention and Response Department.

This involves three SNT (horticultural non-profit partnerships) and one hamlet. In the partnerships RSM-2, «Sodruzhestvo» (Alliance), and «Globus» (Globe), there has been no power since 1 a.m. on January 27. The cause was an accident on a high-voltage line. In the hamlet of Alexandrovka on Steppnaya, Studencheskaya, and Bratskaya streets, electricity went out at 07:05 on January 27. This happened due to an accident on a transformer.

In the SNT «Globus», «Sodruzhestvo», and in the settlement of Kovalevka, heating points were opened for residents.

«The time for restoration of power supply is until the cause of the accident is eliminated,» wrote local authorities.

Later, the administration of the Aksay district reported:

«Specialists of Rosseti-Yug (Rosseti South) are working to switch consumers of SNT »Sodruzhestvo«, »Vityaz« (Knight), »Veteran« (Veteran), »Globus«, RSM-2 to backup power. The approximate time for restoration of power supply is at 13:30.»
