St. Petersburg Bailiffs Collect 2.4 Billion in Alimony Over Year
In 2025, St. Petersburg bailiffs collected over 2.4 billion rubles (approximately $27 million at current rates) in alimony from non-payers. Compared to 2023, the amount increased by 60%.

In 2025, the St. Petersburg department of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) secured the collection of alimony debts amounting to over 2.4 billion rubles (approximately $27 million at current rates). This result is 26.3% higher than the 2024 figure and 60% higher than the 2023 data.
The number of active enforcement proceedings for alimony has slightly decreased. In 2023, there were 4,918; in 2024, 14,506; and in 2025, 14,110.
All legal measures are applied to debtors, including bans on property registration, seizure of bank accounts, and cars. Since May, an open register of persistent alimony non-payers has been operating on the FSSP website, and since January, it has also been available on the Gosuslugi portal. Currently, 6,000 St. Petersburg residents are listed in it.
