Sochi Opens Aid Collection Points for New Regions and Troops

Starting Monday, January 26, special points will begin operating in Sochi where humanitarian aid can be brought for residents of new regions and military personnel. Such points will open in all four city districts, as well as in Krasnaya Polyana and the Volkovsky rural district.
There are clear requirements for the collection: all items must be new, in intact packaging, and food — with a long shelf life. The list is compiled based on specific requests and includes not only cereals, canned stew, and water, but also hygiene products, warm men«s thermal underwear, painkillers and dressing materials, baby food, toys, power banks, and gas burners.
As noted by Sochi Deputy Mayor Alexander Mitnikov, it is important to help targeted, collecting exactly what is really needed.
— For us, this is not a one-time action, but part of constant, active work. The humanitarian mission has long become a common cause for thousands of Sochi residents, — emphasized Mitnikov.
The points will work from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, with a break from 13:00 to 14:00 at the following addresses:
Adler District: Kirov Street, 53.
Khosta District: Resort Avenue, 106A.
Central District: Navaginskaya Street, 18.
Lazarevsky District: Glinka Street, 4.
Volkovsky Rural District (settlement of Dagomys): Batumi Highway, 39a.
Krasnopolyansky Settlement District: Volokolamskaya Street, 25.
Reception Office: Gorky Street, 37.
Humanitarian cargo will be delivered directly to residents of new regions and servicemen at the front. The full list of necessary items and addresses of all collection points is available on the website of the Sochi city administration. Organizers ask to carefully review the list for effective assistance.
