Severomorsk Kindergartens Open as Usual, Some Schools Remote on Monday

In Severomorsk, all kindergartens will operate as usual tomorrow. This was announced by the head of the closed administrative-territorial entity, Vladimir Yevmenkov, in his Telegram channel.

— In general education institutions, students in grades 1–8 will study in person. Children living in houses without utilities will be able to stay for after-school programs. Students in grades 9–11 will switch to distance learning. For children from privileged categories and those living at addresses without power supply, free lunches will be organized at schools, he noted.

Support points based in schools and preschool divisions are open today until 11:00 p.m. Points at the «Stroitel» House of Culture, the Youth Leisure Center, and the administration building will operate around the clock.

Tomorrow, support points where one can charge gadgets and heat up food will be open at the following addresses:

  • youth space «SOPKI» (Morskaya St., 10);

  • space «SOPKI.SEMYA» (Flotskikh Stroitely St., 5);

  • department of applied arts and folk crafts of the Severomorsk Museum and Exhibition Complex (Safonova St., 5);

  • structural subdivision of the Sasha Kovalev House of Children«s Creativity (Training Center, Aviatorov St., 3);

  • structural subdivision of the Sasha Kovalev House of Children»s Creativity (CDO, Sovetskaya St., 23);

  • «Stroitel» House of Culture (Vice-Admiral Padorina St., 9);

  • Youth Leisure Center (Dushenova St., 10a).

Recall that due to an accident on power lines of «Rosseti North-West», tomorrow, January 26, there will be temporary changes in the operation of medical organizations in the Murmansk region.
