Second Baltiyets train arrives on blue metro line

On Thursday, January 29, the second Baltiyets model train was delivered to the Avtovo depot for the Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya line of the St. Petersburg metro.
Alexander Beglov posted the relevant information on his Telegram channel, accompanying it with footage of the new train.
The governor quoted: «The train has already arrived at the Avtovo electric depot. It has undergone technical inspection and will soon begin trial runs in the metro.»
During the inspection, specialists tested the electrical equipment, doors, safety systems, as well as the finishing and equipment of the cars.
The first Baltiyets train intended for the blue line is already at the trial run stage, and its movement has been noted by observers.
In total, the Oktyabrsky Electric Car Repair Plant will manufacture 950 new cars for the city metro. Currently, the 46th and 47th trains are being assembled at the plant for the second line.
