In the Oktyabrsky District of Samara, the creation of a recreational area on the site of demolished emergency houses on Sovetskoy Armii Street was discussed. The meeting was organized by the district administration together with deputies of the regional Duma Svetlana Beskorovainaya and the city Duma Denis Kuptsov.

— The volume of demolition of resettled emergency houses in Samara has been increased. We are developing cleared land plots into parking lots, and part is planned for the construction of social facilities or the creation of squares and parks, said city mayor Ivan Noskov. — After resolving the issue of allocating plots for the construction of a school and kindergarten in the Oktyabrsky District, we have started preparing a project for a recreational area. A green park or square will solve the issue of the lack of places for walks and recreation in the area of the clearings, where there is dense residential development. Implementation will begin only after the project is formalized and agreed upon with residents.

The plot with an area of approximately 1.5 hectares is intended for improvement. In 2026, five emergency houses (No. 260, 276, 278, 280, and 288) on Sovetskoy Armii Street will be dismantled there. It is planned to create a park or square with a recreation area, children«s playgrounds, viewing platforms, fountains, and parking lots. At the request of local residents, the project includes an equipped descent to the bank of the Volga River.

— Residents asked to arrange a quiet park zone with green plantings, cozy paths, and a small children«s playground. Notably, within walking distance is the renovated dacha of Konstantin Golovkin, or the House with Elephants, noted Svetlana Beskorovainaya. — Also, an initiative group of residents proposed combining the new object with the recreation area at Lake Lesnukha and the improved territory of the Izumrudny residential complex with pedestrian and bicycle paths. In this case, not only will the issue of arranging a new recreation area be solved, but comfortable access to it will be provided.

To participate in the next discussion on the improvement of the territory, you can write a message to the official public page of the Oktyabrsky District.

In the Pyataya Proseka area, they plan to build a kindergarten for 240 places and a school for 650 students. Both buildings will be three-story: the area of the kindergarten will be 3.7 thousand m², and the school will occupy more than 8 thousand m².
