On the morning of January 26, Palace Square in St. Petersburg was unusually empty. All exits to it were blocked, as reported by local residents. The absence of people is also being recorded by webcams.
On the same day, in the city, Primorskoye Highway and several other major roads were closed. Traffic restrictions have continued for the second day in a row.
