Murmansk's power supply fully restored, governor says
The city of Murmansk has been fully reconnected to the electrical grid following repairs.
The governor of Murmansk Region announced the full restoration of electricity in Murmansk.
— Electricity supply has been fully restored in Murmansk, — he said.
In some houses and apartments, management companies and resource-supplying organizations are conducting additional adjustments to the electricity supply. This is due to technical features of the operation of internal building networks after the power restoration.
Work in the closed city of Severomorsk continues.
Recall that Governor Andrei Chibis announced the cancellation of payment for electricity for residents of Murmansk and Severomorsk during the power outages.
In Murmansk Region, a power supply line was installed on temporary supports, and later residents of Murmansk and Severomorsk began to have power experimentally restored to their apartments.
Due to the accident, a state of emergency was introduced in Murmansk Region. The prosecutor«s office of Murmansk Region has already begun an investigation due to mass power outages. A criminal case has been initiated. It turned out that the fallen power line supports had been in service for almost 60 years.
