Murmansk Support Centers Operate from 10 AM to Midnight

Support points in Murmansk are operating from 10:00 to 00:00 today, with a 24-hour location in Roslyakovo, as announced by the city head.

Today in Murmansk, support points for the population are operating from 10:00 to 00:00, announced Murmansk head Ivan Lebedev. And at the «Sudoremontnik» House of Culture in Roslyakovo, the point is open around the clock.

«You have kettles and microwave ovens at your disposal. In school buildings, the points operate up to the metal detector frames to comply with safety requirements,» Lebedev said.

Field kitchens from 14:00 to 00:00 will operate at the following addresses:

pr. Svyazi, 30, Gymnasium No. 1;
ul. Skalnaya, 12, School No. 49;
ul. Mira, 12, School No. 49 (second building);
prosp. Geroev-Severomortsev, 76/3, Gymnasium No. 9 (former School No. 41).

Distribution of food packages will start no earlier than 14:00 and will be organized until 00:00:

ul. Aleksandra Nevskogo, 81;
ul. Ushakova, 9;
ul. Safonova, 37;
ul. Zavodskaya, 1;
ul. Askoldovtsev, 39;
ul. Polyarnye Zori, 51/33.

At each specified address, there is an opportunity to charge a phone. The full list is on the administration«s website.

Recall that in Severomorsk on January 26, all kindergartens will operate as usual. However, educational institutions in Murmansk are switching to remote work; we reported on who will be affected by the changes.

The Murmansk administration informed about the schools that will operate on Monday. Travel in Murmansk and Severomorsk has been made free.

Also, Murmansk residents were urged to leave for work earlier, and additional buses will be deployed on some routes.
