Murmansk port, bulk terminal suspend operations after blackout

Work has been temporarily suspended at the Murmansk Sea Commercial Port. The reason is a repeated blackout.
The port has entered an emergency electricity shutdown zone. Work was decided to be temporarily halted to prevent equipment damage and reduce the load on the power system. This will also help restore power supply to city residents more quickly.
Hot meals have been organized for port employees and their family members affected by the accident. Additional assistance will be provided to people if necessary.

Murmansk public transport is being switched to a special operating mode, and street lighting is being turned off. All classes for schoolchildren in Murmansk were canceled on January 31. We reported which supermarkets were forced to temporarily close.
