Murmansk Left Without Power for Second Time: Which Supermarkets Are Closed

The administration of Murmansk has published a list of stores that are temporarily closed following an accident on a section of a power line with temporary supports.

In the open stores of the retail chains Lenta, O«Key, Magnit, Pyaterochka, and Perekrestok, people can charge mobile devices, heat up food, and get water. According to the Murmansk Region Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy as of 11:00, the Lenta and O»Key hypermarkets are operating normally.

To recap, parts of Murmansk and Severomorsk were left without power again. Andrey Chibis reported on the causes of the repeated accident.

Murmansk«s public transport is being switched to a special operating mode, and street lighting is being turned off. All classes for schoolchildren in Murmansk on January 31 have been canceled.

Also, the head of Severomorsk, Vladimir Evmenkov, announced a list of addresses where electricity may disappear. The Murmansk administration told where people should go who again found themselves in apartments without power.
