Magnitogorsk deploys temporary street warming point with rescuers

On Thursday, 22 January, a warming point will open in Magnitogorsk near a large intersection in the Pravoberezhny District. The information was confirmed to MGORSK.RU by the Civil Protection Department of the city administration.

The temporary point will be located at the intersection of Karl Marx Avenue and Zavenyagin Street, and will be open from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Rescue service specialists will be on duty at the point.

The point will open for one day. Its further operation hours depend on the weather, as clarified by the administration.

Earlier, volunteers from the search and rescue team «ALFA-SPAS» stated that they plan to help those freezing on the streets on the night of 23 January. Volunteers will organize patrols at public transport stops and on streets from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

The city hall clarified that the point will be located on the side of the TRK «Gostiny Dvor» shopping center.
