Lyubertsy residents without heating as cold snap hits

Residents of Lyubertsy in the Moscow region have complained on social media about the loss of heating in their homes. In a district chat created for reporting utility problems, administration representatives say that repairing the system after an accident will take at least another hour—waiting until midnight will be necessary.
According to the latest information, the Lyuberetskaya Heating Network has «lowered parameters» at two central heating points due to an accident. There is no heating on Gogol, Popov, Tolstoy, and Uritsky streets.
«I assume that we will be reimbursed for electricity??? Since electric heaters have been running in the apartment since noon so the children don»t freeze!!!« writes Elena in the comments.
«Lowered parameters to icy radiators and no hot water? Today minus 13°C (9°F), tomorrow even colder! Are you serious?!» complains Christina.
Earlier, investigators opened a criminal case after a utility accident in Zhukovsky. Residents of the city were left without hot water and heating on January 24, and utility services could not immediately restore the heat supply.
Other cities in the Moscow region also periodically lose heating. The problem with heating networks in Russia is systemic.
