Weekend at the Museum of Art

As per tradition, we share the schedule from the Udmurt Republican Museum of Fine Arts. Let«s see what the museum staff have prepared for visitors this weekend.

Confectionery Master Class «Nimbus 2000 Broom» (6+)

On Sunday, January 25, the «Kosoy Pereulok» coffee shop will host a master class for young wizards. Under adult supervision, participants will learn to make the dessert «Nimbus 2000 Broom,» which consists of delicious cream, chocolate straws, and a drop of magic.

Play «The School for Wives» (16+)

On Sunday, January 25, the Udmurt State Russian Drama Theater will stage a play based on Jean-Baptiste Molière«s comedy »The School for Wives.«

The plot revolves around a vain man who considers himself the smartest, noblest, and most worthy person in society. He dreams of an ideal home and family, for which he needs an ideal life partner. The main character decides to raise a wife for himself, but something doesn«t go according to plan...

Candle-Making and Painting Master Classes at the «NeStanDART» Studio (12+)

The «NeStanDART» studio also offers activities to keep Izhevsk residents from getting bored this weekend. They have prepared interesting master classes sure to please those who enjoy creative hobbies.

Circus Premiere «May in February» (0+)

This weekend, Izhevsk will host the grand premiere of the «Happiness» circus — «May in February.» Stars from Russia, Kenya, Colombia, and Brazil will perform for the audience. The program includes acts with motorcycles, lions, tigers, horses, dogs, and monkeys. Aerial gymnasts, jugglers, and clown Natalya Maykhrovskaya will also take the stage at the Udmurt State Circus.
