Irkutsk's city improvement chief resigns
Yurganova«s exit is part of a trend of resignations from the Irkutsk mayor»s office in recent months.
Another loss for the Irkutsk administration: deputy chair of the city improvement committee and head of the urban environment department Elena Yurganova has resigned. This was reported to the IrSiTi portal by the mayor«s office press service.
It is known that Yurganova left the mayor«s office on January 12. Currently, her position is temporarily filled by deputy head of the urban environment department Alyona Shubina.
This is not the first resignation from the small «gray house» in recent months. In November 2025, the mayor«s office was left without a chief architect after the dismissal of Anton Zhukov, who had held his position since 2020. Moreover, deputy mayor and chair of the social policy committee Tatiana Edelman resigned, having held her post since 2022.
