The invasion of hoofed animals has driven residents of two large residential complexes in Krasnoslobodsk, a city near Volgograd, to hysteria. Horses on the loose have been feeling at home in the suburb for half a year, scavenging scraps from garbage bins and calmly strolling along the road, weaving between cars and trucks.

According to a resident of the Izumrudny residential complex, horse strolls on highways have repeatedly led to serious accidents. They have been grazing this way since summer 2025, and their owner, whoever he may be, apparently sees no problem with it.

They constantly wander around Krasnoslobodsk: breaking fences, overturning trash cans. There have been numerous serious traffic accidents where both drivers and horses suffered. Today they are roaming in the Vtoraya Pyatiletka area. Who the owner is remains unclear.

In the reception of the Krasnoslobodsk administration, they advised filing an appeal indicating the addresses where the herds are located and promised to capture the hoofed animals.

It«s a lengthy procedure. But in short, we ask the company that handles horse capture to catch the herd. Then, as soon as possible, their owner is found, who buys them back for a tidy sum.

The editorial office of V1.RU sent an appeal with the addresses to the Krasnoslobodsk administration. We also asked the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Volgograd Oblast to help locate the herd«s owner.

Incidentally, residents of Malyaevka in Leninsky District faced a similar problem. Their horse owner was also irresponsible, letting his herd storm playgrounds and front gardens. Although the owner lived nearby, for some reason, no one could find him. And the head of the settlement was completely unaware of the pressing issue.
