Help points open in Murmansk for charging devices and staying warm

In Murmansk, special help points have been opened for residents due to the shutdown of heating and electricity. There, people can charge phones and other devices, heat food, and fetch water. The points are operating in libraries, schools, and sports facilities in all city districts.

Recall that in the Murmansk region, a state of heightened readiness has been introduced due to power outages. This decision was made at a meeting of the operational staff. In the streets of Murmansk, lighting has been temporarily turned off.
The press service of «Rosseti North-West» reported that the cause of the outage was a technological failure on an overhead power line. The prosecutor«s office of the Murmansk region has already begun an inspection due to mass power outages. A criminal case has been initiated.
