Free Sochi trips for Arkhangelsk students: how to apply

Applications are accepted from February 1 for schoolchildren in the Arctic zone of Arkhangelsk Oblast to vacation for free in Sochi under the 'Children of the Arctic' program.

Schoolchildren from Arkhangelsk Oblast can vacation for free in Sochi. Under the «Children of the Arctic» program, they can go to the Black Sea to the «Madagascar Island» camp. We explain who is eligible and how to apply.

Children studying in grades 5 through 8 inclusive and living in the territory of the Arctic zone of Arkhangelsk Oblast can go. This opportunity is provided free of charge no more than once every two years.

The land territories of the Arctic zone include the following municipal formations:

Arkhangelsk City District

Mezensky Municipal District

Novaya Zemlya City District

Novodvinsk City District

Onezhsky Municipal District

Primorsky Municipal District

Severodvinsk City District

Leshukonsky Municipal District

Pinezhsky Municipal District

As explained by the regional center for social protection of the population, applications can be submitted on Gosuslugi (the state services portal). A certificate of enrollment is also required. Application deadlines:

from February 1 to 15 for the spring session

from April 1 to 20 for the summer sessions

from September 2 to 15 for the autumn session

The first session starts at the end of March.
