Among the documents published by the U.S. Department of Justice, a proposal was found for billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, accused of sexual crimes, to meet a girl from Finland. This information emerged on January 31.
An email dated September 15, 2011, was discovered with the following text: «Are you in New York? I have a friend you could meet. She is from Finland, her parents live in Florida, tall — 180 cm (5 ft 11 in), blonde, and very pretty. It would be nice to see you too, if you have time.»
The archive also includes airline tickets ordered by Epstein«s assistant Leslie Groff, where Helsinki appears as a transit point. Among the routes are flights from St. Petersburg to Malaga and from Riga to Miami with a stop in the Finnish capital.
The publication of the archive includes about a million documents, two thousand video recordings, and 180,000 images related to the Epstein case.
The name of former U.S. President Donald Trump appears in the materials approximately 3.2 thousand times. Some of the mentions may have come from informants or are contained in news articles and emails that ended up in the archive.
