Developer to Replace Trees After Logging for Ufa Housing Project

UFA1.RU visited the site of tree logging near the forest behind Slavy Boulevard, which has concerned residents of nearby districts and other citizens. We found out that the developer planning to build a new residential complex there is part of a well-known development company in Bashkortostan.

Representatives of the company assured that the work has received appropriate permission under the comprehensive territory development program, the agreement for which was concluded with the Ufa administration. The project is directly implemented by the company «Zeleny Dvor» (Green Yard), and on-site clearance is carried out by equipment with the logo of «Pervy Trest» (First Trust).

Felled trees are being temporarily stockpiled on the same location where logging occurred.

GC «Pervy Trest» (First Trust) was founded in Ufa, its owner and manager is businessman Ildar Garipov. This company, in particular, built the residential complex «Soty» in the capital of Bashkortostan.

The developer has committed to landscaping and enhancing public spaces as part of the project.

In «Pervy Trest,» they confirmed that their group of companies includes the construction firm «Zeleny Dvor,» which was permitted to build the residential complex. As the developers emphasized, the work is being carried out exclusively within the framework of the law.

Municipal authorities have received full compensation for the removal of green spaces from the developer.

«Preparatory work on the site is being carried out strictly within the boundaries of the developer»s land plot and exclusively within the framework of current legislation. All necessary permits and approvals have been obtained in the established order, the project has undergone the prescribed approval procedures. Work on the removal of green spaces is being carried out only within the territory allocated for development and is a mandatory stage of project implementation,« stated »Pervy Trest.«

The company assured that tree logging outside the boundaries of the plot allocated for the residential complex is not being conducted and will not be conducted. Moreover, on the territory of the complex itself, the developers plan to plant new large-sized trees.

«In a quantity exceeding the volume of removed plantings, which will allow not only to restore but also to strengthen the green framework of the territory,» promised the company representatives. «Moreover, in accordance with the terms of the comprehensive territory development agreement, the developer will at its own expense carry out improvement works on the public area of »Ufa Necklace« from the boundaries of the plot to »Hanging Stone,« which will improve the quality of the urban environment and create a comfortable public space for residents.»

Also, earlier in the Ufa mayor«s office, it was noted that compensation for the tree logging has been paid to the city budget, which will go towards landscaping. However, the exact amount was not specified by the city administration.

«Compensation payments for green plantings have been fully directed to the municipal budget,» confirmed the developers. «The management of these funds falls within the competence of local self-government bodies.»

According to the resolution on the mayor«s office website, a total of 7.49 hectares of land along the forest on Blukher Street have been allocated for renovation. Additionally, hundreds of garages are planned to be demolished there, and in their place, two high-rises up to 30 floors will be built.
