Today, January 26, in Magnitogorsk, lessons for students in grades 1 to 9 in both shifts have been canceled. This was reported by the city administration.
“Due to weather conditions, in municipal educational institutions, classes for grades 1-9 in the first and second shifts are conducted using distance learning technologies,” the city hall said in a statement.
Early in the morning, thermometers dropped to -29 degrees Celsius (-20°F). It feels even colder.
Classes were also canceled last week. Students stayed home on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
