Trees on Deputatskaya Street in Irkutsk have been wrapped with caution tape and are set to be cut down. This was reported to the Irkutsk City editorial office by a concerned Irkutsk resident.

According to her, the tape appeared on several trees located on the stretch of Deputatskaya Street from Zverev to the «30th Division Street» stop. The removal of hazardous trees is scheduled for January 29.

«The trees don»t look sick at all. Absolutely,« emphasized the Irkutsk resident.
As explained to the Irkutsk City portal by the mayor«s office press service, the trees were inspected by a dendrologist from the municipal institution »Gorodskaya Sreda« (Urban Environment), at the request of residents. In this area, the specialist identified three hazardous trees. »Only they are subject to removal,« clarified the city administration. They also emphasized that compensatory landscaping is planned here.
