Andrey Chibis: Power Supply Restored in Severomorsk
Electricity services are being normalized across the Murmansk region after widespread outages.
Governor of Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis reported the full restoration of power supply in Severomorsk.
«Fine-tuning adjustments for houses and apartments will also be carried out in the near future,» emphasized the regional head.
Recall that Andrey Chibis stated about the cancellation of electricity payments for residents of Murmansk and Severomorsk during the power outages.
In Murmansk Region, a power supply line was installed on temporary supports. Power supply in Murmansk has also been fully restored, and trolleybuses are returning to their usual routes.
Due to the accident, a state of emergency was declared in Murmansk Region. The Murmansk Region Prosecutor«s Office has already begun an investigation due to the mass power outages. A criminal case has been initiated. It was found that the fallen power line poles had been in service for almost 60 years.
