In Yekaterinburg, students at Lyceum No. 159 have been required to install the MAX messenger. According to a message received by parents, on January 26, teenagers will be gathered together and will download the state app under teacher supervision.

«Now it»s mandatory, even though MAX was originally advertised as a communication alternative,« noted a reader of E1.RU.

In the message, teachers explained that on this day, the lyceum will hold a «Day Without Mobile Phones.» And they emphasized that using cell phones during lessons is not allowed.

«The event is conducted with the aim of preserving students» health, reducing visual strain, and fostering a responsible attitude towards the use of digital devices,« stated in the message.

The press service of the Yekaterinburg administration responded to E1.RU that, in accordance with federal legislation, interaction between participants in educational relations (teachers and students of elementary, middle, high school grades, and in supplementary education) is carried out through the national messenger MAX.

Previously, parents of schoolchildren and kindergarteners were asked to register in the messenger. Read the column by a teacher from Yekaterinburg about the transition to MAX.

There were also problems: at Polzunov College, students who refused to install MAX were openly threatened with expulsion.

By the way, E1.RU is also on the MAX messenger. If you have already downloaded it, subscribe to us.

Residents of Sverdlovsk Region can now schedule a doctor«s appointment in the new messenger.
