Voronezh to Merge Four Technical Schools into Two

They will be merged to optimize budget expenditures
In Voronezh, authorities plan to merge four technical schools into two larger educational institutions. The corresponding draft resolutions have been published on the anti-corruption expertise portal.
According to the documents, the Voronezh Aviation Technical School named after Chkalov on Leningradskaya Street will absorb the Polytechnic Technical School. Simultaneously, another merger will be carried out: the Voronezh Welding and Industrial Technologies College on Rostovskaya Street will absorb the Technical School of Industrial and Construction Technologies.
The official goal of the changes, as stated in the draft resolutions, is to increase the efficiency of budget spending and rational use of state property. At the same time, authorities emphasize that the key educational profiles of each of the reorganized institutions will be preserved.
Thus, instead of four separate institutions, two enlarged educational centers will appear in the city.
