The Department of Construction of the Omsk city administration told NGS55.RU about the timelines for completing capital repairs at three schools, where work has been ongoing since 2024. The educational institutions are being renovated under the regional program «All the Best for Children». It was originally planned that work on the facilities would be completed by September 1, 2025, but the deadlines for capital repairs have been significantly delayed.
Now, School No. 56, located on Maslennikova Street, is planned to be handed over by the end of the first quarter of this year. On the same dates, the capital repair of School No. 71, located in Moskovka, should be completed. And educational institution No. 13 in the Khimikov Street area will be put in order by the end of the second quarter of this year.
Earlier we reported which schools will begin repairs in Omsk in 2026. These are institutions No. 27, 60, 63, 67, 72, 86, 87, 105, 119, and 138. Moreover, at School No. 63, both of its buildings will be renovated (they are located on Entuziastov Street). In total, 1.2 billion rubles (approximately $13.3 million at current rates) are planned to be spent on the work.
Also, at the end of last year, Governor Vitaly Khotsenko criticized the repair of School No. 56, where the work is being carried out by the company «Siberian Construction Materials», owned by the family of deputy Igor Antropenko.
