Elena Nechitaylova, the only «People»s Teacher of the Russian Federation« in Rostov region, has died. This was reported by the region»s education minister Tamara Shevchenko.
Nechitaylova showcased her botanical paintings from the previous year on her social media in late 2025.

Nechitaylova graduated with a gold medal from School No. 1 in Tsymlyansk. After studying at Rostov State University, she returned to her alma mater to teach chemistry. She was a candidate of pedagogical sciences and participated in international conferences on cognitive research in Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Israel. Nechitaylova was a member of the editorial board of the scientific-methodological journal «Chemistry in School».
Elena Nechitaylova was interested in art. She was a member of the Association of Botanical Art Artists of Russia and participated in exhibitions in various regions of Russia. Nechitaylova led classes at the «Rainbow» fine arts studio for students in grades 6-8 and conducted watercolor master classes for adults at the Tsymlyansk Local History Museum.
«Elena Viktorovna»s professional career was marked by numerous personal achievements and the high results of her students. She was a true mentor who dedicated her life to educating the younger generation. I offer deep and sincere condolences to her family and loved ones,« wrote Rostov region education minister Tamara Shevchenko in a Telegram channel.
