Prosecutor inspects school meals in Chelyabinsk
The inspection began after students complained about mold in food and larvae in tea. Violations of sanitary standards could lead to prosecutorial measures.

The prosecutor«s office of Chelyabinsk Region has launched an unscheduled inspection of the meal service in schools No. 3 and No. 56. The reason was numerous complaints from students about finding mold in products and insect larvae in drinks.
Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the region Natalya Mamayeva stated:
During the inspection, an assessment will be made of the implementation of sanitary-epidemiological legislation in organizing children«s nutrition, compliance with requirements for protecting their life and health. Based on the results of the inspection, the issue of taking prosecutorial response measures will be decided.
Parents of students from school No. 3 confirmed that children regularly find hair and mold in dishes in the cafeteria. In tea, larvae and flies are also encountered.
The worst thing is that nothing changes, inspections are organized, cooks make everything look nice on that day, and then everything repeats again,noted one of the mothers.
