Young Tula police receive million for village relocation

The region also has other programs to attract young people to villages.
In Tula region, a new regional program to attract young specialists to villages will come into effect starting February 1. This was announced by Governor Dmitry Milyaev on his Telegram channel.
This refers to the regional program «Zemsky Uchastkovy Upolnomochenny Inspector Politsii» (Local Precinct Authorized Police Inspector).
According to this program, young graduates of professional educational institutions will be paid 1 million rubles (approximately $11,000 at current rates) if they move to villages in Tula region and start working as local inspectors.
The program applies to all settlements with a population of less than 50,000 people.
As with the «Zemsky Doctor» (rural doctor) and «Zemsky Teacher» (rural teacher) programs, police officers who move to small settlements will need to work at their new location for a certain period. Otherwise, the «relocation allowance» will have to be returned to the state.
