Readers of 45.RU left over 40 comments on the site regarding the report that utility tariffs in Kurgan will increase from January and October. We examined what concerns Kurgan residents.

“Previously, the increase in utility bills was a maximum of 4 percent, but now they«ll raise it as much as they want. Why aren»t pensions indexed twice a year by the same percentage as utility bills?” — asks one of our readers.

“They increased the pension by 1,400 rubles (approx. $16 at current rates), and now they«ll add the same amount to utilities. And eat whatever you want! Prices for products are also rising! How can a pensioner survive on 17,900 rubles (approx. $205)? Tell me, disrespectful deputies and government?” — asks another.

“A stable increase in prices. For a three-room apartment, I already pay ten and a half thousand rubles (approx. $120), and it will only get worse,” complained our reader.

“They raised the pension by 1,200 rubles (approx. $14), and then increased only utilities by the same amount, plus products, medicine, so this is a dignified old age, laughable to tears,” another pensioner is outraged.

Recall that in the Kurgan region this year, utility fees will increase twice: from January 1 and October 1. On average, tariff growth should not exceed 1.7% from the beginning of the year and 12.4% in the fall. All figures for individual utility services have been approved. We provided them in this material here.
