In Blagoveshchensk, Bashkortostan, plans are underway to build a second data center. The company «Sintora» has already been included in the registry of residents of the territory of advanced development (TAD), and the project is expected to cost more than 380 million rubles (approximately $3.8 million at current rates). This was announced by Andrei Nazarov on his social media.
«This is an extremely important direction for us. Today, the resilience of businesses and government services directly depends on where and how data is stored and processed,» writes the Prime Minister of Bashkortostan.
According to the plan, the new data center is aimed at supporting internet services, corporate infrastructure, and cloud platforms for companies in Bashkortostan and other regions. The complex will include a separate building with server and network equipment, data storage systems, and infrastructure for the secure operation of the machinery.
The project is already being implemented, and the main construction and installation works are planned to begin in the second quarter of 2026. The launch of the facility is expected by the end of the year, and the data center should reach full capacity in 2027.
The Prime Minister also reminded that there are five TADs operating in Bashkortostan. Among them are Belebey, Kumertau, Blagoveshchensk, Neftekamsk, and Beloretsk. Residents receive benefits on taxes, rent, and land, including the opportunity to acquire plots without auctions and at reduced rates. Therefore, those willing and talented can contribute to the development of the republic.
