Webcam Studios in Volgograd Earn Over 1 Million Rubles

Police in Volgograd have detained the organizers and models of two webcam studios that were conducting paid online broadcasts, which earned nearly a million rubles.

In Volgograd, the case of two webcam studios that operated in the Sovetsky District and earned nearly 1 million rubles (approximately $11,000 at current rates) from online broadcasts has been sent to court.
During searches, police seized numerous phones, including push-button models.

The operation to detain them took place in February 2025, and law enforcement officers found the studios in two apartments located in a townhouse.
One of the detainees explained on camera: «Webcam. Girls film here. They show videos of various types. Sometimes sexual, but more often just entertaining.»
According to the investigation, management was carried out by a 36-year-old resident of Volgograd and two administrators.
Adult women aged 18 to 35 participated in the studios« work, three of whom were detained.
Preventive measures for the organizer and one administrator were house arrest, while the other suspects signed a pledge not to leave the area.
The participants in the case have been charged under Part 3 of Article 242 of the Russian Criminal Code («Illegal production of pornography») and face imprisonment for up to six years.
This is not the first such incident in the region.
In July 2024, a branch of a Moscow-based criminal group engaged in filming pornography was liquidated in Volgograd.
In 2023, law enforcement officers detained two organizers of an illegal business from Samara and Chelyabinsk.
