In Volgograd, a brazen robbery of a small shop selling cigarettes, tea, and coffee was caught on camera. Two perpetrators, one armed with a sledgehammer, paid no attention to the filming and fled the crime scene, ignoring questions from the person with the camera.
The incident occurred on the night of January 28-29. In the video footage recorded by local residents, a man with a sledgehammer and a cardboard box is seen climbing out of the broken display window, pushing aside the blinds. Behind him, another person dressed in dark clothing emerges from the retail outlet.
Off-camera, a male voice is heard commenting on the robbers« actions: »Go, go... Watch out... Come on, wreck it, you hear! Look, go-go-go... Let«s go, guys! Oop! And [ran] behind the garage.»
The criminals« haul, as it turned out, was several boxes of tobacco products. Notably, the owner of the affected kiosk refused to file an official report with law enforcement agencies.
An inquiry regarding possible reports on the theft and measures to search for the perpetrators has been sent to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd Region.
