In the Skopinsky district, the body of missing 26-year-old Dmitry Kh. was found. He had been searched for over a week, and his mother contacted the police, concerned about the long absence of contact with her son. This was reported by the regional Investigative Committee department.
The last person to see Dmitry was his mother«s live-in partner — a 39-year-old man. He told investigators that the young man had allegedly »left in an unknown direction,« and he did not know where he was.
The mother«s live-in partner is suspected in the murder. As reported by the Investigative Committee, the man »under the pressure of collected evidence« confessed to the crime himself and showed where the body was lying.
According to the investigation, on the night of December 28, 2025, the men drank alcohol and quarreled. Kh.«s mother»s live-in partner beat him to death with his hands and feet, and the blows landed on the head and body. From the injuries, Dmitry died in the apartment.
«In order to conceal the crime, the person involved placed the man»s body in a garbage collection pit located on the premises, covered it with branches, and set it on fire,« — said the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Ryazan region.
The mother«s live-in partner of the killed Ryazan resident was detained and placed in custody. In the near future, he is planned to be charged with murder. In parallel, examinations and evidence securing are being conducted.
